Through Raising Consciousness, Tara teaches advanced meditation practice, centered on the Three-Step Method — a framework she built from her own practice and now shares with students.

Photo by Marni FreedmanTara developed the Three-Step Method through her own meditation practice, and now teaches it as a direct and active path for remembering who you truly are. It is a framework for spiritual discipline, designed to help you courageously turn from the ego’s illusions and align with the truth of your divine nature.
Taken together, these steps raise one's baseline level of consciousness and invite transpersonal experiences of loving awareness and oneness.
"The Three-Step Method helped me answer a deep call within myself. It completely changed my life."
Note: "ego" here means the spiritual sense — David R. Hawkins' Transcending the Levels of Consciousness, not Freud. It's Tara's favorite book.
If the cost of what's offered here is prohibitive, contact Tara to discuss a price point that works for you.
Trainings for Three-Step Method Facilitators will be available in 2027.

What are the advanced meditation practices we'll learn?
These are the meditations that make up Step Three of the Three-Step Method — Empty Your Mind. You'll learn to build a protective boundary around your own awareness so ego's usual bait can't get to you, to reconnect with a sense of self that isn't built out of achievement or other people's opinions, and to move into a deeper practice of releasing attachment altogether — including a full letting-go of past, future, self-story, and craving. There's also forgiveness work, which is some of the deepest material in the whole method.
Why are they useful?
Because insight alone doesn't change anything. Steps One and Two get you to see your ego clearly and act against it — but the conditions ego has placed on your own self-love don't just disappear because you understand them intellectually. These meditations are where that actually gets released. This is the step where inner turmoil becomes inner peace, not just where you learn about the difference.
What happens after them?
You walk away with a repeatable tool, not a one-time experience. Every one of these practices is designed to be used again — before a hard conversation, after an ego hit, whenever old conditioning resurfaces. Nothing here is "one and done." The goal is that loving awareness becomes less like a destination you visit in meditation and more like your baseline.
What is the difference between this meditation program and therapy? What happens if I feel I need more support?
This is an important question. While advanced meditation can be a powerful tool for self-awareness and personal growth, it is not a substitute for mental health treatment. Our work in Raising Consciousness, LLC is educational and focused on the framework of the Three-Step Method.
My role as a clinical psychologist (Integrated Treatment, LLC) is entirely separate, bound by different legal and ethical guidelines. To ensure the integrity of both roles and to provide the best possible care, a crucial ethical boundary is in place:
My Commitment to Your Well-BeingThis policy ensures that you receive the right type of support from the right provider, and that our student-teacher relationship in meditation remains clear and effective.
What this is, plainly: Tara is a certified meditation teacher through a private training program — not a government-regulated credential, and not a claim of mastery or religious authority. She's a longtime practitioner who developed this method from her own experience and now teaches it to others who want to learn it.
It wasn't part of a research study. It wasn't a metaphor. It was just a night, a sky, and something that didn't behave the way things in the sky are supposed to behave. It didn't become a new treatment modality, and it didn't become a spiritual teaching either — it became a special interest. These days, Tara is, by her own admission, a certified space enthusiast.
